In the world of Gobloria a threat has been awaken, something that haven’t been seen in these lands for generations.

 

The only thing that stands between the human civilization and the massive horde of bloodthirsty greenskins and trolls is you, A young wizard left alone by his master with only few basic magical skills at his disposal. Magical skill that are just meant to ease the everyday life meanwhile the master is on other duties.

The idea for Defender of Gobloria was to create a game with the castle defender concept that had a rich story behind it and most of all took inspiration from classic Disney hand painted characters and backgrounds. Each character is first hand painted then implemented into the computer and still keeps the cartoon feeling.

 

The Defender of Gobloria concept was something we wanted to create that was more about skill and not pay to win. We want all our games to be skilled based and when we design a game we always have that in focus.

 

Because Defender of Gobloria  is our first game as a team, we wanted to try to do as a full-game as possible so we could learn from our work.

Casper Henriksson

Casper Henriksson

Role: Producer and Scripter.

Casper has been creating board game prototypes and writing stories from young age and still do but now in digital form.

He has experience from earlier, in both game development and user experience. something he takes with him in every project he starts and finish.

Role: Lead Programmer

Marcus has a passion for both developing and designing software systems and games.

As lead programmer for several project both during the years in school and after, he has worked up an experience that brings with him an understanding in code structure and code design.

Oscar Rolander

Role: Conept Artist / Lead Art

As a film production student at Gotland university Oscar learned the skills to create animations and concepts that had the feeling for the project. 

At young age Oscar was inspired by Disney movies. The dream of creating cartoon and fantasy movies drove him to try out other areas of entertainment production.

As a creative concept artist he was the perfect match for this project Defender of Gobloria

At 14 years old, karl became interested in music and started to create his own songs but before that his passion was games.

When he became older he felt that they could be combined and that two passions became one by creating music for games
